Many of the pictures and logos on this website do not belong to us. They have been borrowed by us or by people with learning difficulties to give visual clues to words that people with learning difficulties find both hard to understand and often cannot read at all.
We also use these visual clues as links to external websites .This allows people with learning difficulties to access to the internet without any knowledge of how to search for, type or remember a web address.
All the CK websites are specifically designed to make the Internet accessible to adults with learning difficulties, many of whom need visual representations of people and objects to help them understand information.
It would be impossible to seek everyone's permission to use their images and as we are a very small voluntary organisation we do not have the resources to do this.
Common Knowledge (CKUK ) does not, in any way, profit from these images and that all creative rights to these images belong to their original owner(s) / creator(s).
